Accounts Payable Coordinator to their team.
Salary/Hourly Rate: $50k - $55k
Position Overview: The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of invoices, vendor payments, and accounts payable records. This role works closely with internal departments and external vendors to ensure smooth financial operations while supporting month-end close activities and process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Coordinator:- Process and reconcile invoices, payment requests, and vendor accounts accurately and in a timely manner.
- Serve as a primary contact for vendor inquiries and resolve internal and external payment issues.
- Assist with payment forecasting by tracking outstanding invoices and upcoming obligations.
- Support month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Required Experience/Skills for the Accounts Payable Coordinator:- 2+ years of accounts payable or related accounting experience.
- Experience processing invoices and managing vendor relationships.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and data entry skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Accounts Payable Coordinator:- Experience in healthcare or multi-site organizations.
- Familiarity with ERP or accounting software.
- Experience supporting month-end close processes.
- Knowledge of accounts payable best practices and internal controls.
Education Requirements:- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
