Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their growing manufacturing team in Rutherford County. This position plays a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate invoice processing, vendor payments, and account reconciliations in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounts payable expertise, and manufacturing industry experience.

Key Responsibilities - Accounts Payable Coordinator

• 
  
• Process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• 
  
• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documentation, and invoices
• 
  
• Review, verify, and code invoices for payment processing
• 
  
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries
• 
  
• Maintain accurate vendor records and accounts payable documentation
• 
  
• Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
• 
  
• Prepare and process weekly payment runs in accordance with company policies
• 
  
• Utilize Excel to analyze accounts payable data, generate reports, and support financial tracking
• 
  
• Collaborate with purchasing, receiving, and accounting teams to ensure accuracy and compliance
• 
  

Qualifications - Accounts Payable Coordinator

• 
  
• Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Payable experience required
• 
  
• Prior manufacturing industry experience required
• 
  
• Proven experience with three-way matching of invoices required
• 
  
• Experience processing high volumes of invoices
• 
  
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables required
• 
  
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• 
  
• Strong communication and collaborative abilities
• 
  
• Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred
• 
  
• Experience with ERP systems and automated AP processes is a plus
•
