Accounts Payable Coordinator

LHH Accounting Principals is partnering with a well-established organization in Southlake, TX to identify an experienced Accounts Payable Coordinator for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for an AP professional who has strong full-cycle accounts payable experience and is comfortable working in a manual, detail-oriented AP environment.

Responsibilities

• Process approximately 65 invoices per week through a primarily manual AP process

• Accurately input vendor invoices and follow documented processes and procedures

• Process invoices received through Excel integrations from multiple vendors, each with different processes

• Process weekly mileage expense reimbursements through Excel integrations

• Manage multiple files and detailed steps required for weekly mileage payments

• Responsible for all weekly ACH and check payment runs

• Process weekly check runs on Tuesdays and ACH payments on Wednesdays

• Ensure all vendor, mileage, and direct sales payments are processed accurately and on time

• Perform vendor and account reconciliations

• Maintain vendor records and complete vendor maintenance

• Research and monitor outstanding checks

• Review transactions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies

• Follow documented policies and procedures consistently throughout the AP process

• Assist with other AP and accounting duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Prior full-cycle accounts payable experience, including invoice input, payments, and reconciliations

• Experience working in a manual AP environment is highly preferred

• Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

• Comfortable managing processes with multiple steps and files

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to follow detailed procedures and established processes

• Experience processing ACH and check payments

Pay Details: $23.00 to $25.00 per hour
