Temporary Part-Time Accounts Payable Coordinator Role:

As a part-time member of the company's Accounting team, the Accounts Payable Coordinator will play a role in supporting day-to-day accounts payable function. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to the accounts payable function.

• Temporary Hours: This position is a temporary part time position, anticipated to work only 16 hours per week. The expected shift is Tuesdays and Wednesdays in-person. This is expected to be a 3-month contract with possible extension if needed.

Duties:

• Reconcile vendor statements and research discrepancies in partnership with internal teams
• Execute online utility payments
• Assist with transitioning vendors to ACH
• Monitor and manage shared AP inboxes to ensure all inquiries and invoices are addressed promptly
• Support document management and recordkeeping, including scanning, organizing, and maintaining financial records
• Other projects as needed

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to work onsite in downtown Denver on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications; familiarity with accounting systems a plus
• Team-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information

Education/Experience:

• This part time, temporary position is perfect for someone who is in school, retired or requires a limited schedule.
• Understanding of Accounts Payable functions a plus
• Experience with JD Edwards or Bottomline AP Automation is a plus

Compensation: Compensation for this role includes a base salary between $22.26/hr and $25.29/hr.
