Position SummaryWe're looking for an organized, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Junior to join our accounting team! In this role, you'll support a high-volume Accounts Payable department. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career who's eager to learn the ropes of restaurant AP and multi-unit accounting in a supportive, team-oriented environment. What You'll DoInvoice Processing: Receive, review, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.Payment Support: Assist with preparing and scheduling vendor payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer to ensure bills are paid on time.Data Entry & Coding: Accurately code invoices to the correct general ledger accounts and departments.Ramp Cards: Track down proper back-up, code and approve for upload.Vendor Communication: Respond to routine vendor inquiries, help resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain up-to-date vendor records.Reconciliation Support: Assist with reconciling vendor statements, corporate credit card statements, and identify and correct discrepancies.Email Inbox: Monitor, review and forward AP and Accounting emails.
