Youll work alongside Finance, Procurement, IT, Treasury, and business leaders to transform AP operations through automation, process optimization, and technology innovation.

What Youll Do
Strategic Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of AP Supervisors, Senior Supervisors, and AP professionals across North America.
- Establish a culture of accountability, service excellence, continuous improvement, and employee development.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert for AP operations, controls, and best practices.
Business Process Transformation
- Lead initiatives to modernize AP processes through automation, digital solutions, and workflow optimization.
- Drive SAP transformation efforts, system enhancements, OCR technologies, payment platforms, and other process improvement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations, reduce manual work, improve efficiency, and enhance vendor experiences.
Operational Excellence
- Oversee end-to-end accounts payable operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant payment processing.
- Monitor key performance indicators including invoice cycle times, aging, productivity, and error rates.
- Implement scalable processes and controls that support business growth while maintaining compliance.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with Procurement, Accounting, Treasury, Tax, IT, and business leaders to improve end-to-end procure-to-pay processes.
- Influence decisions that drive operational effectiveness and enhance business performance.
- Support enterprise initiatives including shared services optimization, system implementations, and global alignment efforts.
Typical Education
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4-year college or university
Relevant Experience
- 5+ years of progressive Accounts Payable experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.
- Experience leading teams and driving operational improvements in a complex business environment.
- Demonstrated success implementing process improvements, automation initiatives, or system enhancements.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable processes, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence across functions and drive change in a dynamic environment.
- Strategic mindset balanced with operational execution.
