They will also play a key role in leveraging Oracle Cloud Financials and AI-driven automation to streamline workflows, improve accuracy, and reduce manual processes.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing both onshore and offshore teams, implementing financial software, and navigating high-volume, complex vendor bases. This role is not just about managing accounts payable - it's about driving transformation in our financial processes, leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete accounts payable process, including invoice processing, PO and Non-PO, payment execution (ACH, wire, check, e-payables), and vendor master management.
- Manage a team of accounts payable staff, both onshore and offshore, providing training and guidance as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with 1099/1042 tax reporting requirements and vendor compliance processes.
- Implement and manage SOX controls within the accounts payable department.
- Act as the primary AP subject matter expert for: RPA, Oracle enhancements, and agentic AI use cases.
- Work closely with other departments to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and improve controls and scalability.
- Participate in strategic planning and decision-making at the management level.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive AP experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Financials is a must.
- Proven experience managing high invoice volume and complex vendor base, preferably in a Fortune 500 or large industrial company.
- Solid understanding of 1099/1042 tax reporting requirements and vendor compliance processes.
- Experience with SOX and management of SOX controls.
- Demonstrated success in driving finance transformation, including the implementation of RPA and AI technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
