Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications and other job-related reasons./ph3Description/h3pEssential Duties and Responsibilities:/pulliCarry out the companys monthly close process in a timely and comprehensive fashion, including the preparation of journal entries, reconciliation of the balance sheet accounts, and review of the income statement (particularly operating costs)./liliHelp ensure the GL and financial statements are accurate and reliable, in compliance with GAAP and ZO accounting policies, and in line with all management and corporate directives./liliSupervise the AP staff that performs a variety of tasks, including the following: A/P coding, PO modification and troubleshooting, vendor set up, employee expenses reports, special payment requests, and document scanning duties, to ensure they are appropriately trained and developed, working efficiently and effectively, and resolving issues appropriately./liliOversee the implementation and maintenance of Tipalti./liliUploading ACH/Checks files to the bank for Positive Pay/liliProcess weekly payments - ACH / EFT / Wire and Checks every other week./liliHelp maintain a sound internal control environment in accordance with company policies (with a focus on revenue leakage, cost control, and fraud), and assist in implementing new controls and processes as needed./liliAssist in complying with all local/state/federal tax and statutory obligations, including sales tax, and assist in related external compliance audits./liliAssist with the companys external financial audits./liliSupport the accounting and finance teams with the department budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes./liliParticipate in other projects and tasks as delegated to help achieve our business goals./liliHelp promote a culture of respect, professionalism, and collaboration within the finance team and throughout the company, in particular ensuring that the department is presenting itself as a support service to the rest of the business./liliPrepare 1099 reporting at year-end./li/ulpKnowledge, Skills Abilities:/pulliBachelors degree in Business /Accounting or similar discipline required./liliMinimum of 5 years experience in an accounting or finance function, including experience in a lead, senior, or manager role is required./liliStrong project and people management, organizational and communication skills are required./liliAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required/liliExperience with Tipalti (or a similar AP automation software) and NetSuite./li/ulpWork Environment: The work environment is indoors in a professional office environment. The floor surfaces are carpeted in office areas and conference rooms with vinyl floor covering typical in hallways, break rooms and computer rooms. Occasionally, they may work in a warehouse environment, as part of a project, and/or in the field with outside sales./ppWork Hours: The work schedule is 5 days per week, 8 hours per day. Initial start time may vary, with work hours typically from 8am-5pm. Work hours and shifts are subject to change depending on operating business conditions and needs.
