Accounts Payable
Woodside, CA (Hybrid)
$100,000-$125,000 DOE
Seattle Search Group is partnering with a highly respected private family office to identify an experienced Accounts Payable professional to support a diverse portfolio of operating entities, ranch operations, and investment-related businesses.
This is far more than a traditional AP role. You'll work in a sophisticated, multi-entity environment where accuracy, discretion, and exceptional organization are critical. The position offers broad exposure to accounting operations while partnering closely with finance leadership and internal business teams.
Responsibilities

Own the full-cycle accounts payable process across multiple entities.

Review, code, and process a high volume of vendor invoices accurately and timely.

Manage vendor onboarding, W-9 collection, and ongoing vendor relationships.

Coordinate invoice approvals and payment processing through Bill.com and electronic banking platforms.

Process ACH, wire transfers, checks, and other payment methods.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.

Assist with month-end close by preparing AP accruals and reconciliation schedules.

Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation.

Prepare annual 1099 reporting.

Partner with accounting staff on intercompany transactions and special projects.

Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and internal controls.

Support additional accounting responsibilities as business needs evolve.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

5+ years of progressive accounts payable or accounting experience.

Experience working in a multi-entity environment strongly preferred.

Experience with Bill.com, QuickBooks Online, or similar cloud-based accounting systems.

Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting fundamentals.

Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

High level of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information.
