Accounts Payable Processor
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85054
Setting: 100% on Site
Pay: $20/hour (flat rate) 
Duration: 3-Month Project 
 
A leading organization in the transportation and logistics sector is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Processor to join their team on a 3-month contract. Join a team where you'll play a key role in processing and validating invoices before they enter the system. This is an individual contributor position with established processes, and a team that is available to provide support.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Review, index, and process incoming invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Contact haulers via phone and email to resolve invoice and billing inquiries
  • Research rates, billing codes, and payment discrepancies
  • Document findings and updates with a high level of accuracy
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely invoice processing
Qualifications:
  • Accounts Payable experience
  • Transportation AP or logistics industry experience
  • Waste Management industry experience
  • Strong research, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ideal Candidate:
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable communicating with vendors while researching and resolving billing questions in a fast-paced environment.
