Required Experience & Skills
Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and accounts payable processes
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and computer systems
Excellent data entry accuracy and recordkeeping skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced office
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and integrity
High school diploma or GED required
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Process, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices accurately
Complete vendor payments and help control expenses efficiently
Reconcile entries by comparing accounting reports and balances
Charge expenses to appropriate accounts and cost centers
Monitor payment schedules and ensure timely vendor payments
Investigate and resolve invoice, PO, and contract discrepancies
Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and supporting documentation
Reconcile vendor statements and maintain account accuracy
Track and process credits, adjustments, and outstanding memos
Support general accounting and administrative functions as needed
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in accounts payable or accounting support
Familiarity with accounting software or ERP systems
Strong organizational and time management skills
Work Environment
