Salary Range: $51,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Kalamazoo seeking Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialists who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper coding and approvals.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Generate customer invoices and process customer payments, applying them to the correct accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable to identify overdue accounts and initiate collection efforts.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.

Recommended Qualifications

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems specific to manufacturing (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Familiarity with the procure-to-pay and order-to-cash cycles within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of sales and use tax regulations, particularly as they apply to manufacturing operations.
• Ability to analyze and reconcile complex accounts, including those involving raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
