This person will be providing support to the Tom James Sales Professional Team.Job ResponsibilitiesPays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, payment discrepancies and documentation.Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries in excel spread sheets.Processes invoices daily via coding and reviewing pre-coded invoices along with entering vendor invoices into the accounting system.Verifies vendor accounts.Communicates with vendors, addressing inquiries, resolves payment issues while maintaining a positive relationship.Gathers W-9 information from vendors, sets up new vendors and maintains AP database.Files and maintains Accounts Payable invoices.Approves and processes office supplies for retail offices.Other duties as assignedRequired SkillsBasic data entry skillsStrong Microsoft Office, Internet, and email skillsGood written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization and planning skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAssertive and results orientedAbility to learn quicklyRegular, on-site attendance requiredAbility to maintain confidentialityExperienceExperience in Accounts Payable or Accounting preferredHigh School diploma, GED, or equivalent$19 - $22 an hourWhy this is a great opportunityTom James is an industry leader, and we have grown steadily every year we've been in business.
