Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLocation: San Antonio - Onsite M-F / 8-5Department: AccountingReports To: Accounts Payable ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our growing accounting team. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle accounts payable operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting month-end close activities.The ideal candidate is highly organized, deadline-driven, and experienced in high-volume invoice processing environments.Key Responsibilities* Vendor Setups, process and code high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently* Perform 2-way and 3-way matching (purchase order, invoice, receiving documents)* Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies* Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH, and wire payments* Maintain accurate AP records and documentation* Assist with month-end close and AP aging reports* Respond to vendor and internal inquiries in a timely manner* Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls* Process and codes all invoices with appropriate general ledger accounts, ensuring accurate and timely posting.* Manages weekly check runs, Reconcile monthly vendor statements, identifes discrepancis.* QualificationsRequired:* 5+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience* High level of accuracy and attention to detail* Strong organizational and time management skills* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Pay to be determined based on experience.Preferred:* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field* Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks, etc.)* Knowledge of GAAP principlesWhat We Offer* Competitive compensation* Health, dental, and vision insurance* 401(k) with company match* Paid time off and holidays* Opportunities for growth and advancementCompany DescriptionAlamo1 is a full-service environmental contractor that specializes in large-scale industrial construction, demolition, remediation, abatement, energy, emergency response, trucking, stormwater, and drone services.
