Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Ashland, Virginia (on-site)
Pay Range: $60,000 - $68,000

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to support a high-volume, multi-location operation. The Accounts Payable Specialist will play a key role in managing full-cycle AP processes across multiple states, working in a fast-paced environment with significant invoice activity and cross-functional coordination.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable processing, including high-volume invoice intake and coding
• 
  
• Perform 3-way matching (invoice, PO, and receipt) with accuracy and efficiency
• 
  
• Conduct detailed research on invoice discrepancies and resolve issues with internal stakeholders
• 
  
• Coordinate with multiple locations and departments to track purchase orders and receiving documentation
• 
  
• Process payments and support bi-weekly check runs
• 
  
• Prioritize vendor payments while maintaining strong vendor relationships
• 
  
• Ensure accurate data entry and maintain organized AP records in Spectrum
• 
  
• Track, edit, and resolve outstanding AP issues in a timely manner
•

• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist in a high-volume, multi-entity or multi-location environment

• Strong experience with 3-way matching and full-cycle AP processes

• Proficiency with Spectrum software preferred
