About the Role

LHH is partnering with a growing company near Aurora, Ohio to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist on a contract-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced AP professional looking to start immediately. If you are currently not working and ready to get back into accounting, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Process high-volume accounts payable transactions
• Match invoices, reconcile accounts, and resolve discrepancies
• Review and process employee expense reports
• Communicate with vendors regarding payments and account inquiries
• Assist with month-end closing and AP reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Previous Accounts Payable experience required
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Experience in a high-volume environment preferred
