Accounts Payable Specialist

Main Purpose of the Role

The Structures Company is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist who will help support accounting and finance team using Oracle for one the premier Space Aerospace Companies.

Key Components

• Oversee the timely and accurate processing of invoices.
• Process AP in accordance with internal controls for proper authorization.
• Review and verify coding to ensure accuracy of APinvoices. 
• EnteringAP invoices intoOracle ERP system,matchinginvoiceswith 

3-way & 2-way purchaseorders, and ensure properapprovals are obtained,etc.

• Resolve purchase order, invoice or payment discrepancies.
• Processingweeklypaymentruns.
• Banking skills: wire transfers, ACH files and positive pay files.
• Banking credit card reconciliation.
• AP Aging Analysis.
• Responsiblefor new vendor set ups and preparation of year end1099s.
• Oversee the maintenance of supplier files.
• Assist withtasksto help expedite the monthendclose process.
• Participate in the design, development, testing, implementation and documentation of new processes.
• Interactswith all levels of managementandoutside suppliersto resolve any AP issue, in a professional manner.
• Prepare audit files as needed.

Key Requirements

ProfessionalRequirements

• 2 years’ experiencein Accounts Payable preferred.
• HighSchoolDiploma or equivalent.
• Good time management skills to manage fluctuating work volume.
• Detailed oriented and able to multi-task.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Experience working is a fast pace team environment.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities.
• Experiencein a manufacturingenvironment a plus.
• ExperiencewithERPSystems,Oracleis a plus.
