We are partnering with a locally owned corporate office in Charlotte in hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to their Accounting & Finance team. Responsibilities of the AP Specialist:

• Enter payables for multiple companies using and QuickBooks and bill.com

• Prepare payables for payment on a weekly basis

• Record bank deposits daily

• Act as a point of contact for subcontractors and vendors

• Verify COIs for vendors are accurate and update information in accounting systems

• Setup new vendors profiles

• Reconcile monthly statements from vendors

• Print invoices and validate that sales tax was handled correctly

• Assist with 1099s issuance

• Complete internal billing responsibilities and verify that the correct division was billed

• Compare divisional Receivables on a weekly basis

• Enter credit card receipts into accounting system

Requirements of the AP Specialist:

• Prior experience in an AP Specialist or similar role preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.

• Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
