This position will support the Controller and Assistant Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounts Payable / Accounting Department.ResponsibilitiesPerform the processing and recording of accounts payable transactions and ensure that all invoices and expense reimbursements are paid accurately and in accordance with Finance policies and proceduresPrepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbersProvides financial, administrative and clerical support by ensuring payments are completed and expense accounts are charged by cost centerPrepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logsPrepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accountsAnswers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting dataAssist the Controller with the day‑to‑day, monthly and year‑end operations of the Accounts Payable/AccountingFollow our company's established accounting processesPerform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required by the Controller or Assistant ControllerJob Requirements2+ years' experience in accounting or related fieldExperience with MAS500 accounting software a plusProficient in Word and ExcelStrong written and oral communication skillsAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong organizational and analytical skillsWillingness to establish and maintain effective working relationshipsBenefitsExcellent benefits which currently includes medical health coverage, dental, life insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays and 401‑K with company match#J-18808-Ljbffr
