•   HS or equivalent

Six (6) months accountingPreferred Qualifications:

•   AA/AS in Accounting or related field

Experience in a non-profit organizationDuties and ResponsibilitiesAccounts Payables

•   Compare invoices with Purchase Orders and Receiving

Coding invoices

•   Entering invoices in computer

Posting all entries to general ledgerCheck Processing

•   Run checks on computer

Post checks to general ledger

•   Match checks with invoices

Prepare checks for approvals and signing

•   Disburse checks

File check copies and invoicesVendor Relations•  Answer payment inquiries and maintain clear communication with suppliersCore Competencies

Physical Demands

• Primarily sedentary work with occasional standing and walking

• May require participation in audits, inspections, or urgent compliance matters
• Standard business hours with occasional extended hours as needed
