It is a great opportunity for an individual who wants to build a strong foundation in accounts payable with the potential to develop into a full accounting role over time, if that is a path they are interested in pursuing.As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all payables while supporting the overall financial operations of a growing hospitality group.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and code invoices accurately and in a timely mannerMatch invoices to purchase orders and verify receipt of goods/servicesManage weekly check runs and payment processingMaintain organized and up-to-date vendor filesCommunicate with vendors regarding billing questions and discrepanciesAssist with month-end closing tasks and reportingTrack and reconcile expenses across multiple propertiesEnsure compliance with company policies and accounting proceduresSupport the Controller and accounting team with additional tasks as neededQualifications1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesProficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar preferred)Strong communication and problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-unit environmentInterest in growing into an accounting role over time is highly encouragedHospitality experience is a plus but not requiredCompensation and BenefitsSalary range: $58,000 – $68,000 per year, based on experiencePTO planHealth, dental, and vision benefits401K plan optionDaily free lunch provided on workdaysOpportunity for growth within a dynamic and expanding hospitality groupAdditional DetailsThis is a full-time, on-site position based at our corporate office in Denver, Colorado.
