We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, ensuring timely payments, and supporting month-end close activities. This role requires strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process high-volume invoices accurately and efficiently.
Review, code, and enter vendor invoices into the accounting system.
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documentation.
Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive business relationships.
Assist with month-end closing, accruals, and account reconciliations.
Maintain accurate accounts payable records and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
Support audits by providing requested documentation and reports.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
2+ years of accounts payable experience.
Experience processing high-volume invoices.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and PivotTables.
Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
