More information is available at www.alliant.com. Hybrid work schedule: In-office requirement.SUMMARYResponsible for compiling and maintaining accounts payable records. Processes checks, generates monthly reports, and assists the Insurance Accounts Payable Supervisor as necessary. Acts as liaison between the company and insurance companies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESGenerate and distribute checks written from the company's trust account.Generate the monthly account current statement or report of bookings as required.Reconcile and correct discrepancies between the company and the insurance company's statement or account current.Notify the servicing Producer of any accounting irregularities.Ensure the insurance companies are paid accurately and in a timely manner.Assist the Insurance Accounts Payable Supervisor in reconciling company payables to the general ledger.Other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONSEDUCATION / EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.Two or more years of related work experience.SKILLSGood verbal and written communication skills.Basic knowledge of accounting terms.Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software.Ability to file and operate general office equipment.Ability to work within a team and foster teamwork.Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.Equal Opportunity EmployerAlliant Insurance Services, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
