Accounts Payable Specialist

Waste Connections is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our GROWING team.


PAY:


•$26-$30/hour

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Prepare and distribute invoices for assigned billing cycles to customers.

•Organize, produce, and finalize invoices for all special and sophisticated accounts.

•Process credits/refunds to customers as necessary.

•Reconcile Wires, credit cards, cash and check payments.

•Online decisioning for unidentified payments.

•Contact vendors as needed.

•Assist in month-end and year-end close.

•Review and analyze incoming information to determine validity.


•Assist with preparing batches and charging customer accounts.


•Audit accounts as needed.


•Other duties as needed.


MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:

•Must be detailed oriented and well organized.

•Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.

•2+ years of Accounts Payable/Receivable experience.

•High School Diploma or GED required.
