Accounts Payable Specialist

The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage the company's accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices while maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving reports, and vendor invoices to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain and update vendor files, including contact information, payment terms, and tax documentation.
• Prepare and distribute customer statements, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Receive, review, and process invoices for payment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

Essential Skills

• Accounts payable experience
• Experience with purchase orders and customer statements
• Proficiency in invoice processing and vendor outreach
• Familiarity with three-way matching

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of accounts payable experience
• Experience with Oracle or large ERP systems is a plus

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.85/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
