This role is responsible for maintaining accounts payable records, reconciling vendor accounts, and supporting month-end close activities. The Accounts Payable Specialist works closely with the Chief Financial Officer and internal teams to ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and efficient payment processes.Why You'll Love This RoleStable, full-time position within a growing healthcare organizationCritical role supporting financial accuracy and vendor relationshipsOpportunity to work closely with accounting leadershipHands‑on involvement in accounting processes and month‑end closeProfessional, collaborative office environmentKey ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with CHM management and personnel to support company goals and culture.Maintain strong professional relationships with suppliers and internal teams.Promote and protect the Corner Home Medical brand, reputation, and commitment to customer satisfaction.Sort, code, and match invoices and prepare invoices for payment.Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system accurately and timely.Track expenses and process employee expense reports.Prepare and process electronic transfers, ACH payments, and check runs.Reconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statements.Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current and accurate.Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and vendor inquiries.Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files.Prepare account analyses and produce monthly reports.Assist with month‑end closing activities.Provide supporting documentation for audits.Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects as assigned.Maintain regular and reliable attendance.Qualifications2 Year Accounting Degree or equivalent preferred.2–5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or accounting role.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.Working knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.Ability to analyze information and resolve problems independently.Ability to manage confidential information and exercise sound judgment.Strong written and verbal communication skills with professional phone etiquette.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.Highly motivated, dependable, and team‑oriented.Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.Physical RequirementsAbility to work in a standard office environment using computers, phones, printers, and copiers.Ability to sit for extended periods while maintaining attention to detail.Ability to lift and carry files up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift items up to 50 pounds.Standing, walking, and light physical activity may be required.Work EnvironmentOffice-based work environment.Standard weekday schedule with occasional flexibility as business needs require.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.#J-18808-Ljbffr
