The ideal candidate will be organized and detail-oriented with the ability to effectively communicate with internal partners.Essential Functions and Responsibilities:Accounts Payable SupportEnter vendor invoices in accounting system, ensuring correct general ledger and cost center coding prior to recording all transactions and attach vendor invoice to invoice record in NetSuiteMaintain a monthly trend schedule of all utilities, communicating any significant variances to ControllerReconcile vendor statements to ensure completeness of internal vendor recordsGeneral AccountingComplete monthly bank reconciliationsMaintain fuel card programManage corporate credit card programPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliationsParticipate in monthly closing processOrganize and file annual 1099 FormsManage property tax renditions and paymentsAssist with inventory cycle countsAssist with pricing analyticsMaintain a monthly schedule of use tax due with supporting documents for filingReconcile cash dailyProvide audit and tax support as neededOther projects assignedSkills/Knowledge/Abilities:Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance1-2 years of related experienceAbility to work independently and multi-taskAn urgency for deadlines and detail-orientedStrong written and verbal communications skillsIntermediate level or higher MS Excel skillsNetSuite or other ERP experience a plusColt is an equal opportunity employer and considers candidates regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or veteran status.Colt is a dynamic organization.
