Accounts Payable Specialist – Well-Known Oregon Company!


Great opportunity as an Accounts Payable Specialist in a growing accounting team with one of Oregon’s well-established manufacturers.   • Join a high-performing Accounts Payable team of three specialists processing approximately 6,000–7,000 invoices per month.

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.

Responsibilities:



  • Process accounts payable transactions and assist with weekly payment runs.

  • Verify approvals and match invoices to purchase orders.

  • Scan, merge, and maintain AP documentation for record retention.

  • Set up new vendors and maintain W-9 documentation.

  • Reconcile vendor statements and communicate directly with vendors regarding discrepancies.

  • Prepare and process electronic payments, ACH transactions, and international wire transfers.

  • Process employee expense reports and reimbursements.

  • Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets and AP reporting.

  • Support a high-volume AP function while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines.


Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes and understanding of how AP impacts the overall accounting function.

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking skills.

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills when working with vendors and internal teams.
