Accounts Payable Specialist (260467)Job SummaryThe Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist is a key contributor within the Accounts Payable department, responsible for supporting daily operations and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role offers valuable exposure to various AP functions within the telecommunications industry. The ideal candidate is adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of growing with evolving business needs. The AP Specialist reports directly to the AP Manager.What You Will DoProcess purchase order (PO) invoices and resolve discrepancies within accounting softwareManage and respond to emails in the AP inbox, including researching and resolving internal and external inquiriesProcess monthly commissions and revenue share billing in NetSuitePrepare and process weekly check and ACH payments from the Portland office, including payments related to unclaimed property, commissions, revenue share, taxes, business licenses, and other disbursements requiring supporting documentationReview vendor statements, reconcile accounts, and communicate with vendors regarding outstanding or unresolved itemsOther ad hoc tasks as assignedRequirementsAll levels of education are permitted to apply2-3 years of AP experience preferredAbility to communicate verbally or non-verbally as issues ariseAptitude to learn new applications quickly such as MS Office, accounting software, etc.Ability to work efficiently while having a strong attention to detail with critical thinking and maintaining confidentialitySelf-motivated, both independently and in a team environmentAbility to work from the office 2-3 days a weekAdapt to change as the Company growsAbout Consumer CellularFounded in 1995, Consumer Cellular is the first wireless provider unapologetically built for Americans 50+.
