Accounts Payable SpecialistLocation: Hybrid - 3-4 days onsiteOverviewA high-growth, private equity-backed organization is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to support its expanding finance function. This role will take ownership of the payables process in a fast-paced, evolving environment and play a key role in improving systems, workflows, and controls.ResponsibilitiesManage the full lifecycle of accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and processingEnsure accuracy of invoices through matching, approvals, and validation against supporting documentationPartner cross-functionally to resolve discrepancies and improve purchasing and payables workflowsProcess vendor payments and maintain accurate vendor recordsSupport month-end close activities, including reconciliations and accrualsMaintain compliance with internal controls and company policiesAssist in strengthening processes and identifying opportunities for automation and efficiencyCommunicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issuesQualifications3+ years of accounts payable experienceExperience in a manufacturing, project-based, or industrial environment preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of transactionsNetSuite experience requiredExposure to AP automation tools or system implementations preferredAbility to work cross-functionally and operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentAdditional NotesThis is a newly created position driven by company growth and increasing transaction volumeOpportunity to contribute to process improvement and scalability within the finance functionRole offers exposure to a growing, multi-functional team environmentDetermining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
