In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment transactions, while supporting strong financial controls and month-end close activities.This position plays an important role in maintaining positive vendor relationships and supporting firm-wide financial operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, well-organized, and thrives in a fast-paced accounting environment, with an interest in continuing to build and expand their accounting experience.Major ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices and employee expense reimbursements using Concur and Microsoft Great Plains (Dynamics)Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy, policy compliance, and proper approvalsEnsure accurate general ledger coding for invoices and reimbursementsPrepare weekly check disbursements and enter routine ACH and wire paymentsCollaborate with team members and vendors to resolve invoice and payment discrepanciesMaintain vendor records, including collecting required tax documentation (W-9s)Prepare annual 1099 filings and firm use tax returnsRecord routine accounts payable journal entriesIdentify and support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracyAssist with other accounting-related duties as neededPreferred ExperienceAt least one (1) year of experience in a similar roleCollege-level coursework in accounting or a related business field preferred; Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related business field preferredComfortable with technology, including proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite; experience with Concur is a plusAbility to handle confidential firm and employee financial information with discretion and professionalismStrong attention to detail with a high level of accuracyAbility to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlinesCollaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentClear and professional written and verbal communication skillsStrong commitment to ethics and professional standardsWorking ConditionsTypical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday thru FridayHybrid schedule with 2-3 days per week in the office as determined by workloadAbility to work extra hours as determined by workloadAbility to sit for long periods of timeAbility to move throughout officeAbility to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30-50 poundsTo foster a highly respected, inclusive culture that helps foster and promote an environment that is diverse and equitable for all team members and the firm to achieve growth and deepened expertise.
