Location: St. Paul, MN (this is a HYBRID schedule requiring immediate and consistent time on-site in MN)Pay Rate: $27-$34/hrBenefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)Local Minnesota/Western Wisconsin applicants only.OverviewWe are partnering with a leading manufacturer headquartered in the Twin Cities, to support an Accounts Payable Specialist need. This is ideal for an AP professional who is detail-oriented, comfortable in a high-volume environment, and enjoys partnering cross-functionally within a collaborative accounting team. The team is looking for someone who can step in quickly, take ownership of day-to-day AP activities, and help support ongoing system initiatives.ResponsibilitiesProcessing supplier invoices using a 3-way matching process (PO, invoice, receipt)Validating invoice accuracy and ensuring proper approvals prior to postingCreating, updating, and maintaining vendor records within JDESupporting weekly check runs and EFT payments, including manual check cutting and reconciliationReconciling vendor invoices and credit memos to supplier statements and resolving discrepanciesPartnering closely with internal departments to research and resolve AP inquiries in a timely mannerPosting AP-related reclassifications and supporting controls within the ERP systemEducating internal users on AP processes to help prevent invalid or incomplete entriesProviding ad-hoc support across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger functions as neededQualificationsPrior hands-on Accounts Payable experience in a fast-paced or high-volume environmentStrong experience with 3-way matching and vendor statement reconciliationsERP experience required within a similar system to SAP/D365/JDEdwards/etc.Comfortable working cross-functionally and communicating with internal teams and vendorsDetail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple prioritiesAbility to step into a long-term contract role and contribute immediatelyAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
