WEI is recruiting for an Accounts Payable Specialist. A high-energy individual with a positive attitude and a team-oriented work ethic. Must become passionate about our mission and be driven to see our company succeed. In this position you will need to perform a wide range of accounts payable and accounts receivables activities for the department and/or managers to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• This position receives and processes all invoices for payment in a timely fashion.
• Deals with a diverse group of important external buyers and vendors as well as internal contacts at all levels of the organization.
• Account Reconciliation
• Ledger maintenance and assigns expenses to appropriate accounts.
• Interfaces with internal and external customers
• Develop and improve new accounting methods and techniques.

Requirements:

• Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
• Strong analytical ability is required in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems and prioritize work.
• Work requires continual attention to details, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, databases and e-mail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to understand various departmental operations and procedures.
• Initiate, plan and complete work assignments with minimum direction and control.
• Understands accounting procedures and transactions used in account receivables and payables.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands.
• Knowledge of NetSuite or Sage is a plus.
