Job Details

A well-regarded law firm is seeking two temporary Accounts Payable / Expense Processing Specialists to support its finance team during a systems transition and a temporary leave coverage period. The positions offer the opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced environment and support high-volume financial operations during a critical transition period.

One assignment is expected to run through the end of September, while the second assignment is anticipated to run from approximately mid-June through the end of July, with the possibility to start earlier for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities
Process a high volume of invoices, expense transactions, and voucher entries accurately and efficiently
Monitor and manage the Accounts Payable inbox, ensuring timely handling of incoming requests and documentation
Review submissions for completeness and compliance with internal procedures
Process corporate card reconciliations and related expense entries
Maintain organized electronic records and supporting documentation
Follow established accounting procedures and internal controls
Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion

Qualifications
Prior experience in accounts payable, accounting support, or high-volume data entry preferred
Experience within a law firm or professional services environment is a plus
Exposure to accounting or financial systems required; experience with 3E is a plus
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred

Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage repetitive, high-volume processing work efficiently
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Work Environment
In-office Monday through Thursday; remote on Friday
High-volume, deadline-driven setting
Team-oriented and process-focused environment with strong emphasis on accuracy and consistency
