Accounts Payable Specialist

We are currently seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to join one of our clients in the Winston Salem area. This opportunity is ideal for an accounting professional who enjoys managing high-volume invoice processing, maintaining strong vendor relationships, and supporting monthly accounting operations in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Processing and coding vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Perform three-way match
• Preparing invoices for payment approval and check runs
• Managing company credit card receipts and reconciliations
• Reconciling expenses and posting transactions within the accounting system
• Responding to vendor inquiries and resolving discrepancies
• Maintaining AP records, files, and supporting documentation
• Assisting with month-end close activities and account analysis

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and experience utilizing an accounting ERP system
• Excellent communication, organization, and time management abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay Details: $23.00 to $27.00 per hour
