We're partnering with a stable and growing manufacturing organization in El Segundo that is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join its Corporate Accounting team. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, problem-solving, and collaboration are highly valued.

The ideal candidate has experience processing high-volume invoices, performing 3-way matching, and working within an ERP system in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Process high-volume accounts payable invoices with accuracy and efficiency

• Perform 3-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices

• Review invoice coding and approvals to ensure compliance with company policies

• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, receiving issues, and vendor payment inquiries

• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal departments

• Prepare ACH, wire, and check payments

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances

• Assist with month-end close and AP accrual activities

• Maintain accurate AP records and documentation for audit purposes

• Support process improvement initiatives within the accounting department

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or inventory-driven environment

• Strong understanding of 3-way matching (PO, receiving, and invoice)

• Experience processing high-volume invoices

• ERP system experience required (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, JD Edwards, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or similar)

• Strong Excel skills including sorting, filtering, and lookups

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Corporate Accounts Payable experience

• Experience supporting multi-entity operations

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred
