Accounts Payable Staff

Kratos has an exciting hybrid opportunityfor an Accounting Clerk to support our Accounts Payable team. The qualified candidate will be responsible for assisting Accounts Payable with data entry and administrative tasks as needed. The position will require knowledge of AP monthly accruals and close processes. Additional tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Code data (ex. Purchase Orders) for input to a financial data processing system.
• Review electronic data for accuracy.
• Compile and sort documents for transaction verification.
• Investigate invoice issues; reconcile discrepancies.
• Contact vendors to process payments.
• Processing AP inbox
• GL Account Reconciliations

Required Experience:

• 1-2 years experience in Accounting/AP or college degree in Business/Accounting
• Strong Excel skills including experience using Pivot Tables
• Great attention to detail
• Ability to work closely with others in a team environment
• Needs to be able to work in fast paced environment

Preferred Skills/Experience

• AP or other accounting experience
• Deltek Costpoint experience

The grade-based pay range for this job is listed below. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, and skills.

Competitive salary based on experience and education
Salary Range: $50,000-$55,000
