ARDEX is immediately hiring for an Accounts Payable Supervisor to join our team at our corporate headquarters located at 400 Ardex Park Drive, Center Township, PA 15001.
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead and support our accounts payable functions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys leading people, solving problems, improving processes, and building strong partnerships across the business.
What You will Do
- Lead the day-to-day accounts payable functions, ensuring vendor invoices are accurately reviewed, approved, and processed in a timely manner.
- Supervise, mentor, and support Accounts Payable staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure AP processes and controls meet internal policies and external audit requirements, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and compliance.
- Manage weekly freight and parcel billing activities, analyzing data from multiple online platforms and reconciling associated credit card transactions.
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Logistics, Operations, and vendors to quickly resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Oversee the preparation and execution of weekly payment runs, including checks, ACH payments, and wire transfers, while maintaining positive vendor relationships through effective communication.
- Partner with Purchasing and Operations teams to identify opportunities for cost savings, reduce variances, and improve overall financial performance.
- Support costing, pricing, and spend analysis initiatives by providing financial data, system documentation, and reporting insights that assist business decision-making.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, prepare journal entries, and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Contribute to the preparation and analysis of financial statements, management reports, and month-end closing activities.
- Serve as a key resource across the accounting team, providing backup support for vendor setup, AP correspondence, accounts receivable functions, and cash receipt posting as needed.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, strengthen controls, and support the continued growth of the organization.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred but not required
