Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Supervisor



  • Lead day-to-day accounts payable operations, including workload delegation, quality review, and oversight of team performance as the Accounts Payable Supervisor

  • Manage high-volume, multi-entity AP processing, including vendor payments, invoice approvals, reconciliations, and compliance documentation as the Accounts Payable Supervisor

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for AP escalations, vendor issues, and procure-to-pay troubleshooting as the Accounts Payable Supervisor

  • Maintain and analyze key departmental trackers, dashboards, aging reports, utilities schedules, rent schedules, and vendor reporting as the Accounts Payable Supervisor

  • Partner with finance leadership to improve processes, strengthen controls, and support month-end close activities while assisting with hands-on AP work as needed as the Accounts Payable Supervisor



Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Supervisor



  • 2+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience, including vendor reconciliations, W-9 administration, and 1099 reporting

  • 2 + years of prior leadership, supervisory, or lead experience within an accounts payable environment

  • Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, XLOOKUPs, and INDEX MATCH functions
