Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Tulsa, OK (Hybrid Schedule Available)
Pay Rate: $24.00/hour
About the Opportunity
We're seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join an accounting team in Tulsa. This is an excellent opportunity for an AP professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing high-volume invoice processing, and supporting month-end accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of domestic and international invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Review and enter both PO and non-PO invoices.
- Perform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents.
- Prepare and process journal entries related to accounts payable transactions.
- Maintain vendor accounts and resolve payment discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Review invoice coding and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including accrual preparation and account reconciliations.
- Partner with internal departments and vendors to ensure smooth invoice processing and payment workflows.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent Accounts Payable experience.
- Experience processing high-volume invoices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Experience with ERP/accounting software; SAP experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to collaborate across departments.
