Job Overview:
We are seeking a Staff Accountant I to join our team in Urbandale, Iowa. This role involves working closely with the client team and clients to manage accounts receivable and collect on past-due invoices. The position offers opportunities to collaborate with Cash Application and offshore Collections teams, as well as contribute to process improvements and reporting functions. This is a hybrid role requiring onsite presence six times a month.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the development, implementation, and documentation of procedures and process improvements for general collections and reporting functions.
• Collect outstanding invoices while maintaining strong client relationships.
• Provide feedback and guidance to offshore Collections team members.
• Perform analysis and reporting on past-due client trends, identifying levels of risk and root causes of non-payment.
• Collaborate with onshore team members to develop process efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies and SOX procedures.

• 1-3 years of experience in collections, finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Prior experience in reporting and project work.
• Strong attention to detail.

Pay Range: $23 - $24
