Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist

Location: Phoenixville, PA
Schedule: 100% Onsite | Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and driven Accounts Receivable / Collections Specialist to join a growing and collaborative accounting team. This role plays a key part in managing customer accounts, driving collections efforts, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of receivables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain customer accounts, including monitoring aging and overdue balances
  • Perform collection calls and follow-up communications to secure timely payments
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies, short payments, and billing issues
  • Process account adjustments, credit memos, and refunds as needed
  • Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accuracy of financial records
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, service, and operations) to resolve account issues
  • Maintain detailed documentation of account activity and collection efforts
  • Assist with reporting and other accounts receivable functions as needed

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in collections or accounts receivable
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • High attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
  • Experience in a high-volume or fast-paced environment preferred
