Accounts Receivable AR Specialist

LHH Recruitment Solutions is proactively recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist in the Cleveland, Ohio area. We are building a pipeline of talented accounting and finance professionals for current and upcoming opportunities with our client partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable processes.

• Apply cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts.

• Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances.

• Research and resolve payment discrepancies, short pays, and unapplied cash.

• Investigate and resolve billing disputes.

• Collaborate with accounting, finance, and customer service teams.

• Prepare account reconciliations and reporting for management.

• Support month-end close activities related to AR.

• Maintain accurate customer account records and documentation.

• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable, Collections, Billing, or related accounting experience.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

• Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.

• Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience

• High-volume transaction environments.

• Cash application and account reconciliation.

• B2B collections and customer account management.

• Process improvement initiatives.

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation will vary based on experience, skills, and client requirements. Competitive benefits packages may be available through our client partners.
