AR Billing Specialist Responsibilities

• 
  
• Prepare and submit accurate customer invoices, including progress and AIA billings
• 
  
• The AR Billing Specialist will track project billing status to ensure compliance with contract terms and billing schedules
• 
  
• Partner with project managers to gather billing information and resolve discrepancies
• 
  
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding invoices
• 
  
• The AR Billing Specialist will maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation
• 
  
• Process lien waivers and other construction-related billing documents as needed
• 
  
• The AR Billing Specialist will assist with account reconciliations and reporting
• 
  
• Support month-end close activities related to accounts receivable
• 
  

Preferred Qualifications for the AR Billing Specialist Role

• 
  
• Two or more years of accounts receivable and billing experience, preferably in the construction or project-based industry
• 
  
• Experience with AIA billing and lien waivers strongly preferred
• 
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
• 
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• 
  
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
