This is a temporary, full-time position with an expected duration of up to 13 weeks.
About the Role
Are you detail-oriented with a knack for numbers? We're looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Finance team! In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our customer accounts accurate and up to date by processing payments, reconciling reports, and supporting the day-to-day operations of our AR function. This position reports directly to the Controller.
What You'll Do
- Process regular, complex, and cash payments and apply funds to customer accounts
- Settle customer transactions to maintain clean and accurate account records
- Respond to incoming AR requests in a timely and professional manner
- Review and reconcile multiple daily reports
- Review customer refund checks and returned checks
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly AR tasks and reporting
- Collaborate with other areas of the Finance team on special projects as needed
What You'll Bring
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to assess situations and take appropriate action
- Positive, confident interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred:
- Associate's Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
- Familiarity with debits and credits
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
