Pay: $20.00/hour
Type: Temp-to-Perm 
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7am-4pm

TempExperts is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk for a growing organization in the North Tampa area. This is a great opportunity for someone with Accounts Receivable, cash applications, payment processing, or general accounting experience who is looking for a long-term opportunity with the potential to transition into a permanent role.

What You’ll Be Doing:
The Accounts Receivable Clerk will primarily focus on payment reconciliation and application, helping ensure incoming payments are accurately researched, matched, and applied to the appropriate customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and apply incoming customer payments accurately and timely.
• Reconcile payments against customer accounts and outstanding invoices.
• Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate Accounts Receivable records and documentation.
• Assist with account reconciliations.
• Communicate with internal departments regarding payment or account discrepancies.
• Provide additional support to the accounting team as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Applications, Payment Processing, or Accounting.
• Experience within the construction, electrical, skilled trades, or related service industry is highly preferred.
• Understanding of Accounts Receivable processes in a project-based or service-driven environment is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable researching and resolving payment discrepancies.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
