Accounts Receivable Clerk

Full-Time | No evenings or weekends South Plains Rural Health Services is seeking a skilled and reliable Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Levelland team. The ideal candidate will support finance operations, assist patients with professionalism, and contribute to a positive clinic environment.All employment offers are contingent upon a drug screen, background check, and proof of current seasonal influenza vaccination.What You'll Do:Assists other members of the medical office team as required or assignedPerforms other necessary duties as required by the Chief Financial Officer to meet the goal of providing primary health care servicesPrepares billing forms for all third-party payers including Medicare, Medicaid, and private insuranceStays up to date on all changes or adjustments in billing procedures enacted by third party payersBills third-party payers on a current basis in no circumstances more than 30 days from the date of services  Review all invoices for coding to input in accounting systemWhat You'll Bring:Accounts receivable/payable experience preferred Strong knowledge of pharmacy record-keeping requirementsThe ability to establish and maintain appropriate filing system for the retrieval of needed informationBenefits:Employer-paid medical insurance403(b) retirement plan with company matchCompany-paid life insurancePaid holidays, sick leave, and vacationOptional dental, vision, and other ancillary benefitsEmployee discount programAs part of South Plains Rural Health Services, Inc.'s commitment to patient and staff safety, all employees are required to comply with the annual influenza vaccination policy.
