Accounts Receivable Clerk

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00/hr. based on experience

We are currently hiring a Full-Time Accounts Receivable Clerk. This is a fully onsite position offering long-term stability and the opportunity to join a collaborative accounting team.

The ideal candidate will have prior accounts receivable experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume office setting.

Responsibilities

• 
  
• Process daily customer payments including ACH, checks, and credit card transactions
• 
  
• Apply payments accurately and reconcile accounts
• 
  
• Handle inbound phone calls and assist customers with payment-related questions
• 
  
• Monitor and respond to accounting emails
• 
  
• Investigate and resolve billing or payment discrepancies
• 
  
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• 
  
• Assist with additional accounting duties as needed
• 
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• 2+ years of Accounts Receivable or related accounting experience
• 
  
• Knowledge of payment application and reconciliation processes
• 
  
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• 
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and general computer systems
• 
  
• Oracle software experience preferred
• 
  
• Strong typing and 10-key data entry skills
• 
  
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced office environment
• 
  
• Team-oriented with strong organizational skills
