Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Location: Greenville, SC 29615
Pay: $20/hr, paid weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (Remote Monday & Friday | In Office Tuesday-Thursday)


Overview

The Accounts Receivable Coordinator supports the Cash Application team by processing daily cash receipts, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting internal and external customers. This role partners with accounting teams, banking partners, and third-party providers to ensure timely and accurate cash processing across the organization.


Responsibilities

  • Process daily cash receipts and related documentation.
  • Receive, review, and process paper documents associated with cash receipts.
  • Route checks to the appropriate banking lockbox.
  • Scan checks into the correct bank accounts.
  • Code checks using the appropriate company code, profit center, cost center, and general ledger account.
  • Support cash application activities for acquired companies within their ERP systems.
  • Assist with creating process documentation and training materials for third-party providers.
  • Monitor and respond to Accounts Receivable verification requests and banking inquiries.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between third-party providers, banking partners, internal departments, and customers to resolve questions and support daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate daily logs of processed checks and remittances.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED required.


Experience

  • Previous Accounts Receivable or Cash Application experience preferred.
  • Experience using SAP preferred.
  • Experience with check scanning equipment required.
  • Familiarity with banking lockbox processes preferred.
  • Experience working in a large, multi-location corporate environment preferred.


Technical Skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Working knowledge of SAP preferred.
