Fast growing real estate investment company in Orange County, NY looking for Accounts Receivable. We are only about a 30-minute commute from Northern New Jersey.  The Accounts Receivable primary purpose is to directly manage our accounts receivable and provide accounting and financial assistance to the Financial Reporting group for a commercial real estate investment company. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
  • Maintains and updates customer files
  • Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment.
  • Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the Collections Manager and other staff.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
